Milton XC team hosted another time trial today, as Fulton County Schools are still restricted from running against any other schools until at least September 14th due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Most runners competing ran their first race of the season as a few ran the course for the 2nd time in as many weeks.
The girls race saw junior Jessica Albregts lead wire-to-wire & improve on her performance from last week by 9-seconds (1st-23:28) while besting sophomore Farrah Frith (2nd-23:48) who ran close to an 11-second personal best on the course. Rounding out the top-3 was junior Sydie Behrman (3rd-25:35).
In the boys race, senior Jack Petkash ran to a 10-second course personal best (1st-18:12) to take the overall win with fellow senior Connor Brunson (2nd-18:33) & junior Dylan Bowden (3rd-18:59) also turning in course personal-best performances.
The team will compete next week on the home course in its annual intrasquad relay before taking the weekend off of racing for the long Labor Day weekend.
